Ronald T. Labriola

Ronald T. Labriola is a nationally recognized litigator and trial attorney and a partner in The Senators (Ret.) Firm, LLP. His legal practice involves the litigation of mass tort, products liability, pharmaceutical products, and medical device cases, as well as class actions involving fraudulent and unfair business practices.

For over 17 years, Ronald has successfully represented his clients in hundreds of matters in the trial and appellate courts of California, other states, and the Untied States District Courts. Ronald brings extensive litigation experience, scientific background, and compassion to his clients at The Senators (Ret.) Firm, LLP.

Ronald earned his Bachelors of Science degree from Princeton University and his law degree from Loyola (Los Angeles) Law School. After he graduated from law school, Ronald used his Science background to quickly establish himself as an effective litigator of products liability and other matters that involve complex scientific issues, such as automotive fuel systems, pharmaceutical products, and medical devices.

In 2001, Mr. Labriola followed Thomas M. Moore to the prominent national law firm of Drinker Biddle & Reath, LLP. There, Ronald continued to distinguish himself as a highly respected litigator of complex and products liability cases, focusing primarily on pharmaceutical and medical device cases. Ronald also expanded his practice at Drinker Biddle to include class action litigation involving fraudulent and unfair business practices, childhood sexual abuse, dietary supplement formulation and promotion, appellate and writ proceedings, insurance coverage, and investigations by federal regulatory agencies. While at Drinker Biddle, Ronald was named to the list of Southern California Super Lawyers™.

After representing Fortune 500 companies for many years, Ronald, shifted his practice to helping consumers and injured individuals when he and Thomas Moore co-founded Moore Labriola LLP in 2007 in Newport Beach, California. There, Ronald represented clients who had been injured by defective products or who had been defrauded by unscrupulous business practices. Shortly after he co-founded the firm, Ronald was appointed to be the Plaintiffs’ Liaison Counsel by the court overseeing the California-wide litigation of personal injury and class action claims against the maker of a defective contact lens solution. Ronald was also appointed by several courts as class counsel in several class action litigations. By the time that Moore Labriola LLP merged with The Senators (Ret.) Firm, LLP in 2010, it had successfully resolved numerous personal injury and class action cases and had recovered millions of dollars for its clients.
