Ronald T. Labriola (Partner)
Ronald heads the firm's Sexual Abuse and Class Action practices.
Ronald T. Labriola is a nationally recognized litigator and trial attorney. Ron's practice is primarily focused on obtaining justice for the victims of sexual abuse and on class action litigation involving fraud and unfair business practices. Ron also has extensive experience litigating complex products liability and catastrophic accident cases on behalf of consumers, including matters involving drugs, medical devices and dietary supplements.
Ronald is an aggressive advocate for his clients in some of the nation's most complex personal injury litigation. Lawsuits brought against large, well-financed defendants such as drug and medical device companies pose a difficult task. Corporate defense lawyers commonly employ tactics to prevent the disclosure of internal documents and other evidence of wrongdoing. Ronald has developed a number of strategies to force corporate defendants to properly disclose evidence.
Over the past 20 years, Ronald has successfully represented his clients in thousands of matters throughout the United States. He has been involved in hundreds of cases of childhood sexual abuse against religious orders, public school districts, and organizations such as the Boy Scouts. He has been appointed as Plaintiffs Liaison Counsel in a California-wide coordinated products liability litigation that involved over 200 cases. He has also been appointed as class counsel by the several courts in class action lawsuits. He has helped to recover in excess of $50,000,000 for his clients since 2007. In recognition of his work, he was named to the list of Southern California Super Lawyers™.
Ronald earned his Bachelors of Science degree from Princeton University and his law degree from Loyola Law School.
