Day Care Staff Member Arrested for Accusations of Sexual Assault

After a staff member was arrested for sexual assault on Tuesday, a Corona Day Care Center is now being called into question. Located on the 1400 block of Rimpau Avenue, the Bixby Oaks Children Center is responsible for the well-being of about 80 children who are registered at the facility. However, this could quickly change given the recent allegations that have been made against one of the facility’s staff members.

M. Flores, the designated driver for the day care center and – not coincidentally – the husband of the facility’s owner has been accused of sexual assault. The 26-year old reportedly committed lewd acts with an 11-year old and an 8-year old at the children’s facility. He is currently banned from all daycare centers in the state of California.

As reported by the Corona Police Department, Flores was arrested on Tuesday as he was leaving the day care center to transport children from nearby schools back to the facility. The suspect was booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center on suspicion of kidnapping with the intent of sexual assault of a minor under the age of 14. Because the case is still in its infancy, it has not yet been determined if other victims are out there.
